What’s The Role?
Over the past 4 years Dawson Andrews has worked with some of the world’s biggest companies helping to add significant value to their company through their digital products and platforms. The company has experienced significant growth with very little focus on business development activity which can be attributed to it’s refreshing approach to its value proposition, very high conversion rates and it’s team members. The opportunity now exists to bring in a member of the team that will share the company ambition and to bring the company through a new phase of extensive growth.
Your main role will be to drive the revenue of Dawson Andrews through this growth phase both supported by and supporting the Managing Director. You will work autonomously to identify potential customers, build relationships,, win and retain clients throughout the UK and Ireland anc across the world. You will have a significant focus on delivering for the customer, exceeding expectations where possible and you will manage the full sales cycle from harvesting leads through the marketing team, hunting leads through your own formidable relationships and closing as quickly as possible.

You will operate with speed but exercise diplomacy and understanding to ensure that progress is continually made while retaining an enjoyable and energetic working environment. You will ensure that Dawson Andrews continually keeps the customer at the core and that we continue to exceed expectations.
Specifically, you will be required to:
Responsible to the Managing Director for the achievement of Dawson Andrews’ quarterly and annual revenue Targets
Working closely with the Senior Management team and in particular the Managing Director to deliver the business development plan in accordance with the company’s strategic aims
Responsible for implementing process and managing the sales funnel from nurturing warm leads through to creating the opportunity and closing the deal
Having a sound understanding of our customers, our key buyer persona and working with our marketing team to create a prospecting strategy to target each of our key business sectors
Continually maintaining a sound sales pipeline, liaising directly with the Managing Director and wider team to ensure effective engagement and progression through the buying process while ensuring that key contacts and progress is recorded through our corporate CRM solution
Developing in-depth expertise in our solutions, understanding how they solve our clients’ business needs
Confidently planning and delivering face-to-face and online presentations and software demonstrations
Maintain excellent customer satisfaction through effective account management
You should have the following experience and skills:
Demonstrable experience of closing deals of minimum £50k with an annual sales achievement in excess of £500k
Experience of effectively managing customer accounts and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their needs exceeded where possible
Experience of business development/sales processes, including pre-sales, making best use of marketing support, testimonials and demonstrations - bringing in key members of the team were appropriate to strengthen the pitch
A clear and demonstrable track record of high value sales
Experience of successfully sourcing, compiling, presenting and winning competitive public and private sector procurements
Self-motivated and target driven
Ability to understand customer requirements and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Able & willing to travel as the job requires
Nice To Have
Very strong relationships with key individuals across the UK and Ireland that can be harnessed for access into high value potential customers
At least 5 years’ sales/business development experience working in a similar industry
Experience of successfully selling Digital and/or IT services/solutions
