Membership Registration Software for Modernising Sports Organisations.

The GAA oversee a yearlong schedule of fixtures and games involving clubs, counties, universities, interfirms, primary and post-primary schools. These are mainly managed by volunteers nationwide and with such a plethora of events, measuring attendance of players is not an easy task. Attendance was previously recorded inaccurately due to the inadequate system in place which lacked a user-friendly interface and functionality. The unintended consequences of poor data collection resulted in lower participation levels being recorded which impacted funding for the GAA from national governing bodies.

Dawson Andrews developed a user-friendly, visually appealing interface for the GAA, focusing on easy attendance tracking and efficient reporting. The design was simplified to reduce training needs and support volunteers of varying tech skills. Key features included pitchside attendance recording, offline functionality, and cross-platform compatibility. The improved reporting module provides accurate data for funding decisions by national bodies. These enhancements were crucial for the project's success.
